Sony Mavica Battery Recall Notice

Hi All,

This message is for those of you with Sony Mavica cameras.
Sony has announced a national recall of the NP-F550 & NP-F750 batteries for
the camera. The batteries effected by this recall are as follows.

Batteries produced between March-June 1999

These batteries will have the below code numbers stamped on the 
BACKSIDE of them. If you DO NOT have one of the listed numbers 
stamped on your battery, it's ok and does NOT need replacement!!!!!

If you do NOT have one of the above numbers stamped on the small rib 
between the two labels on the battery back, then your battery is fine! This
info was obtained directly from Sony!! If you have any other question
