Located on Calif. Hwy 44, in the rustic town of
Shingle Town California,
Weston House sits atop a
bluff that offers striking views of the valley below. There is a 2
mile long dirt road that leads to this hilltop paradise surrounded
by majestic pines. All I can say about this tranquil spot is, you
MUSTexperience it for yourself!!!! This is truly a
gem!!
Located on Calif. Hwy 89, in the peaceful town of Hat Creek
California, Rippling
Waters Resort sits just off the roadway and offers 6 rentable
cabins . There is a short dirt road that leads to the main office
/ conference room and cabins. Surrounded by pine and redwood
trees, this resort also features a small creek that echos through
the canyon. The cabins are of varying sizes with cabin #4 being
the smallest of them all. If you're looking for a place to TRULY
get AWAY from all the hustle and bustle of modern technology, then
this is the ideal spot for you!! The location of the resort is
such that, television as well as cell phones will CEASE to
function! Just the place to loose oneself.
Note:Just
down the road south from
Ripplingwaters is the
Rancheria RV Park that
serves up some GREAT rustic / simple chow!!! Please give them a
try while you're in the area and, tell them you saw them listed on
this page?!!
Located on Calif. Hwy 89, in the town of
Burney Falls California,
are several
modern
lodgings most of which are AAA rated. This town and it's
convenience's is one of the only places where you'll be able to
revisit the present. While the ENTIRE surrounding area offers
supplies and unique gifts, for the most part, Burney Falls is the
only spot where you'll find a Safeway grocery store. I enjoy
supporting the smaller stores in the area but, you might have more
complex tastes / needs than I?!
